Why Turing?

What You'll Learn

Our students today are learning in a more flexible environment that allows them to specialize and differentiate themselves, while also building the foundations for a successful career.

We begin with the fundamentals of Object-Oriented Programming and Test-Driven Development using Ruby and a bit of Javascript. Building on that foundation, we move to the web and study Model-View-Controller application architecture with Ruby on Rails while leveraging Javascript on the front end.

In the second half, we build and integrate APIs while working with multiple programming languages.

Our final Module 4 serves as the capstone of the program, where students specialize in areas like React, SQL, Rails, or other technologies—collaborating in teams to develop their most complex application yet.

Careers Make Us Different

Turing is faster than a degree and longer than most bootcamps. Why?

Computer Science degrees are great if you have multiple years to spend learning foundational understandings, but most don’t prepare you for the actual job.

Meanwhile, bootcamps promise to teach everything in weeks, but most don’t work. Turing is fast enough to be employed in under a year and long enough to build real skills.

We emphasize professional development and collaborative skills, supporting you throughout the job hunt.

That’s why our grads consistently outperform the market, with most becoming Senior Software Engineers within five years.

“This is 100% my dream job and industry. It combines my passion for tech with my passion for music and artists. There are a handful of Turing alumni that work at my company so they know the skills I'm coming in with and I'm able to learn new languages and technologies. It’s huge, and I couldn’t be happier.”

Financial Aid

We try to make Turing accessible for every person who wants to change their career. As the only accredited bootcamp in the country, we are able to offer options that others can't. We partner with multiple workforce offices, state governments, and the Veterans Administration to decrease tuition costs where possible. Then our loan partners can offer great options to cover both tuition and cost-of-living expenses.
